Matthew Farrell's theme from Live Free Or Die Hard 4 for gnome

I am a Die Hard fan from the first hour. After watching the 4th one, called Live Free or Die Hard I went looking after the theme the character Matthew Farrell uses on his desktop. I was pleasantly surprised to find a emerald theme, that looks exactly like it. But There was no GTK theme to go with it, so I made one.

@ Yo Yo, this is for the Gnome Desktop Environment, so for Linux indeed.
Can i use this with Windows XP?
This theme works only for the Gnome DE for linux.
No Windows, sorry.

Amazing theme i love it....
i did once find a chat client that was more minimal like the one in the film and you could set animation affects for when people log in and log off, i will try and find the link and repost if you could add yr theme to that it was be by far the up most best theme ive seen...

I found an interesting post that explains how to use gnome themes on windows xp here.
I haven't tested it though. Please report :)
1 remark, this method won't display the theme completely on xp, because emerald is needed for the borders. so no orange borders as far as I know.
btw, the font used in the screenshot is 'snap' from the artwiz package

Hi,
I am using RedHat Enterprise Linux 5, I have downloaded the Gnome theme and installed it on my pc.
It hasn't changed my theme, the window decoration is simple, it is displaying the window border normally
Please help me to have the same look shown in the your post.

One question after carefully looking at the movie their is a screenshot of his wallpaper it looks to me like a picture of someone like a medusa with eyes?
what OS is Farrel Using in Die hard 4 is it Linux or Mac and yea its li8ke a mechanical medusa well wicked and guys am a XP user but wanting to get in to Linux i have no programming experence is that ok or do i need to start learning lol

Beautiful pal, great work. ddi you make the wallpaper yourself after looking at the it during the film and re-creating it or ddi you actually find the one they used in the film?
You have to have Emerald installed to use this theme. Ubuntu doesn't come with Emerald by default.

He's using Linux in the movie. The GNOME top panel is clearly visible on-screen, and you can see him navigate GNOME menus. He also seems to be using Docky.
Programming skills are not necessary to use Linux. It's the 21st Century.
